Focusing on quality over trends – Cynthia Benjamin educates clients on fit and craftsmanship. They also offer a very well curated collection of vintage frames that cannot be found elsewhere. Cynthia Benjamin is a full service boutique which means that service goes beyond the sale including rehabbing or repairing old frames, making adjustments, advising on Rx concerns, or any other optical needs.
Benjamin and Cynthia Montoya have been in the optical business for more than 25 years. Coming up on 16 years ago they opened a shop in the Brentwood Country Mart, so it was the logical next step in the progression of the brand to open up in Montecito Country Mart.
Cynthia Benjamin takes safety very seriously. They insure that every frame on the shelf is sterilized and ready to try on, and that every frame is, subsequently, sterilized in a UV sterilizing box after each customer has tried them on. In addition, Cynthia Benjamin offers hand mirrors for customers who would like to step outside to take down their mask to get an unencumbered view of the frames on their face.
